Creative Motivation
I am your aspiring creative! But more importantly, my name is Aedon J. Lewandowski. California born, Michigan raised, but to cut the formalities, I am one hell-of-a driven soul. Self proclaimed, sure, but I wouldn’t doubt those to attest to it. My head is constantly in the clouds, finding new dreams and collecting them like Pokémon cards. Oh- did I mention I collect Pokémon cards?
Without getting into the semantics of my own lively adversities, just know the walls that stood in my past, and those placed strategically in the future of what is presented to me, will be torn to rubble, and I will stand victorious.
Jeez... I sure am layering on some sort of intensity explaining who I am. To whom it may concern: Do you play any games? Gaming has been a huge anchor of my life, inspiring a lot of my early-aged creativity, blossoming into what I have become today! From artwork, to UI, to overall gameplay of several core names of the “gaming-sphere”, if you will, has shaped my brain to think the way I do today.
From sandbox, to hero shooters, to strategy, my scope has gone in every which way. So what about my strategy? To keep on making cool shit. Pardon my French, but for what’s in store for my future? To achieve greatness. What that manifests into is the dream, and “the journey is about the friends we made along the way”...? No that’s not right. “The journey is the real adventure”! Oh how dearly and deeply I love & adore music. The descriptive lyricism, the physical sensation of the bass vibrating my entire soul, the artistry of production, & the stage presence of a performer. But uh- I don’t make music! And that’s exactly right. The universal love for music & community it brings is something that serves as a great motive for my creativity.
Bringing forth the emotional prowess of music into other aspects of creativity is something that crosses my mind on the daily. The ability to touch so many people, to provoke such thought effortlessly is the beauty I strive for in my work.
